We stayed at Horgsland Cottages for one night as our first stop on the ring road. The check-in process was easy and the location was perfect for exploring Vatnajokull. We took advantage of the hot tub after a long day of driving and enjoyed the stunning scenery surrounding the cottages. The cottages themselves were a decent size and we appreciated the free parking right next to our cottage. a great base for our adventure.
Would recommend this hotel.

The bed linen could have been cleaner, as it appeared to not have been changed for each set of guests.

Our rustic cottage had a kitchenette and parking. It comfortably fit our family and had a cozy seating area. The cottage was well-stocked and had a cute and comfortable atmosphere. The living room had a great view and the overall cottage was spacious. It was easy to find and park despite the unpaved roads. The veranda of Cottage 9 provided a nice place to eat outside. The rooms were clean and some had comfortable mattresses. Despite its proximity to the main street, noise from traffic was minimal.

The cottage provided a nice overall experience. The surrounding area was beautiful, especially in good weather. The spacious self-catering cottage was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with pots, pans, and plates. The cottage also had a common space and a porch to relax on. It was great value for the price, providing a large space to unwind and set up base for exploring.
The wifi connection was a bit troublesome, requiring an ID and password for each device.

We stayed at the cozy cottages for one night as part of our road trip through Iceland. The kitchen in the cabin was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare a homemade meal with groceries we bought at a nearby store. The view from the cabin was breathtaking, with mountains in the background and a vast field in front. The location was perfect for breaking up the drive between the Golden Circle area and Vatnajokull National Park. The cabin itself was spacious and clean, with convenient parking right next to it. The staff was friendly and even spoke Czech, which was a pleasant surprise.

Conveniently located near Diamond Beach and other attractions, with easy access from the main road. Simple cottages with basic cooking facilities and clean bedding. Spacious attic, although a bit chilly without a heater. Enjoyed the communal hot tubs and decent satellite internet for messaging and browsing. Great for aurora viewing.

The location of the cottages was very convenient, being just off the Ring Road. Guests enjoyed nice views of the mountains right at the back of the property. The cottages were spacious and could accommodate up to six people. The kitchen facilities were great, with sufficient cutlery and crockery.
Some guests mentioned a lack of privacy due to the glass doors without blinds.

We loved the cute cottage with its lovely loft - perfect for us old folks! the pitch dark nights provided the ideal setting for viewing the breathtaking Aurora. the cottage was spacious enough for three of us, but could easily accommodate up to six people. It offered a peaceful environment with little noise, and we appreciated having our own sunny place to stay for two nights, complete with a kitchen. And let's not forget the highlight - the hot tub! It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. this budget-friendly option is a great choice for travelers on a budget, especially if you're traveling in a group.
We felt safe walking at night and had no reason to complain.
